The Annual Fund
Gifts made to the Annual Fund are unrestricted. They constitute a flexible resource that allows Loyola to meet the operational needs of the School, and help to support its strategic plan and mission. All gifts, whether large or small, benefit and sustain the vitality of the School. Your annual support helps to:
- ensure that all students who are accepted to Loyola can attend;
- provide a top-notch Jesuit education; and
- demonstrate alumni and parent support of, and belief in, Loyola School today.
Capital and Endowment Giving
Certain gifts made to Loyola School help preserve and enhance the School community, whether in support of identified facilities needs or other physical space priorities, or in support of our faculty and student body. These gifts for capital and endowment purposes ensure the long-term programmatic strength of Loyola.
Increasingly, alumni and parents are using planned gifts as a means to augment their outright giving to the School. Planned, or deferred gifts such as bequests, gift annuities, charitable remainder trusts, etc., provide income to Loyola for many years into the future and may often involve tax benefits for donors.
Loyola’s Annual Auction
The Annual Benefit Auction is the principal fundraising event sponsored by the Parents’ Association and an opportunity for all members of the community to come together and share in a memorable evening. Each May, parents, alumni, alumni parents and friends of the school attend this special evening which includes a cocktail reception and dinner, multiple Silent Auction tables with hundreds of items to bid on, and an exciting Live Auction to cap off the evening.
