Loyola College Tour

Bright and early on the morning of Monday, June 12th, forty-six rising seniors and rising juniors were joined by five chaperones to begin a five day tour of thirteen New England colleges and universities. From urban to suburban, from large universities to small liberal arts schools, and from highly competitive institutions to those of the mid-range, the tour allowed participants to experience the academic offerings and campus facilities from a vast range of schools in three states.

The tour also provided students with inspiration and excitement about the future. As one rising junior noted, ‘I feel very motivated and optimistic about the college process and now I will begin my junior year this September with even more academic effort!’

Participants also experienced historic sites such as Faneuil Hall and Quincy Market in Boston, the City of Cambridge, Harvard Yard, and Brown University’s famous and picturesque College Green.

Next year’s tour is already being planned for colleges and universities of the Middle Atlantic states. Stay tuned!
