History of New York Class Visit from Chief of Staff David Harney
On April 26th, Mr. David J. Harney, Chief of Staff to the Deputy Fire Commissioner for Support Services and Human Resources addressed Loyola’s History of New York Class. He taught the students about the structure of the Fire Department as well as the equipment used for EMT calls as well as Fire/Rescue Calls. It was a great opportunity to understand how a vital city service corps is structured, financed, and trained. And of course, no lesson would be complete without getting to wear FDNY Turnout Gear, as is demonstrated by Senior, Hannah Valente. Thank you for visiting our class Mr. Harney!
